This is the ongoing conversion and extension of a C19th house that had been much modified and rather spoiled in the 1970's. The original house had been left with an ugly flat roof two-storey extension, but was in a lovely location and would benefit from some serious reworking....
So off came the two UPVC conservatories, the flat roof and rather a lot of brown stained 1970's joinery and we are at present creating an "original house" cradled within enveloping extensions. This conversion and extension is being carried out by a self builder.
